Facility Short Description:    The energy of the accelerated proton beams ranges from 0,8 to 10 MeV, approximately. The TANDEM in equipped with 3 ion sources, namely one Sputter source for the production of, mainly, light ions (Li, B, C, O and others) and two Duoplasmatron sources, One for the production of protons and deuterons, whereas the second one is used exclusively for the production of He-ions (?-Particles). The accelerator is equiped with nuclear analytical techniques (NRA, RBS, PIXE,PIGE,ERDA and channeling) for material elemental analysis. A microbeam facility is also available.
